LARVOLOGY: The study of ghosts

There are many humans, magic and non-magic, that investigate hauntings and apparitions all across the world. Those who don’t understand the nature of ghosts go equipped with recording equipment, ouija boards, spare batteries, spiritualists, motion sensors, talismans and torches, taking photos of clouds of dust, reflections and shadows or recording videos of cameras running out of power as evidence of the ghosts. Those who do understand the nature of ghosts usually tun up with a flask of tea, a note pad and a chilled playlist, in order to just listen to the geist. Though this doesn’t all way do the trick, some remarkable discoveries have been made by simply asking the ghost a few questions: and not in that way most mediums call out, which is metaphysically as patronizing as speaking in a loud, slow voice at foreigners as if that is going to make them understand English better.
