Using the wrong facial hair when dressing up as a character
Guy Fawkes’ ghost feels very strongly about the misrepresentation of his beard as a musketeers’ goatee in modern society, but ironically the day most strongly associated with him and therefore the day that he has the best chance of coming back as a solid apparition, is right after the spectral curtain has been, metaphorically speaking, rehemmed. As a result, he never actually gets his point across to visitors to York that he did NOT have a vandyke, but a reddish-brown beard.
