A time-limited transformation
Includes those with event-triggered transformations, such as werewolves or even Persephone, but is usually applied to underpowered transformations with no staying power. Most often these are spells cast by a Magi of some description that just fail because they drain the caster’s power, but the young of naturally morphic species or generally smaller species can lose their alternate form.
